Measuring Your Boat For Transport
The following measurements and concerns will allow us to provide you the most cost-efficient and timely transport available.
- LOA including bow pulpit and swim platform
» Include length of outboard motors & brackets
» Measure all outboards in raised position - Will your boat be an oversized load?
» Wider than 8'6" is an oversized load - Will your boat be over-height?
» Most overpasses' max height is 13'6"
» Hauling trailers are typically ~2' high
If your boat has a radar arch or fly-bridge which causes it to load out higher than 13'6", states will not issue over-height permits unless the radar arch or fly-bridge is removed.
